The Plymouth Electron Microscopy Centre is inviting businesses to the fourth of its Industrial Solutions events focussing on the practical use of electron microscopy to business – and this time, it is the turn of the food sector, particularly ice cream makers in improving quality, reducing waste, even identifying contaminants, and other business-critical issues.
The keynote speaker, Steve Furzeland, spent two years at Unilever analysing the Magnum range of ice creams using electron microscopy, so is well qualified to demonstrate the relevance of this technology to ice cream producers. Come along and find out how you could use electron microscopy to improve your product range, and how your company may be able to receive 12 hours of free support from the PEMC, thanks to funding from the European Regional Development Fund.
